Study Abroad is an international experience for academic credit. Students may study abroad on a faculty-led program, exchange program, non-GSU program, internship or with a faculty supporting their independent research. Study Abroad enables students to continue making progress towards their academic degree, gain professional skills for the global workplace and grow personally. Perimeter College students may also study abroad. Financial aid may be used for the cost of study abroad and GSU scholarships are available through the Study Abroad Programs Office for students to study abroad. Students should plan at least six months in advance and work closely with a Study Abroad advisor or program director throughout the process. To be eligible to study abroad, GSU students need to be in good academic standing, having an institutional GPA at GSU and complete the Study Abroad application and requirements.
