Description
The goal of this course is to provide undergraduate level students with an overview of the biological, social and environmental determinants that relate to maternal and children’s health. A broad range of topics will be introduced to provide students with knowledge about the domestic and global challenges that affect women, infants, children and families. In addition to covering a wide array of biological determinants of health, the course will also cover social and environmental factors that impact the area of maternal and child health.
