AL 4980 - Internship

Prerequisites: AL 3021 or ForL 3021 with grade of C or higher, Junior or Senior standing, and a declared Applied Linguistics major or minor.
Corequisites: None.

Description
This course provides an opportunity to observe and interact with professionals engaged in day-to-day activities in a corporate or non-profit setting. Students will gain occupational skills through hands-on experience and apply linguistics theory, pedagogy, and/or analysis methods to relevant problems in written assignments. May be repeated to fulfill residency or total degree hour requirements, but not to fulfill major requirements.
