Description
Students will learn the skills need for various types of scientific communications. Specifically, preparing and delivering effective scientific presentations is an important skill for students in the biological sciences. Students will develop strong oral presentation and communication skills both through oral and poster presentations. For written communication, students will learn general style requirements for scientific writing, necessary components for a writing a scholarly journal article, and about creating a grant proposal.
