KH 3420 - Curriculum in Health and Physical Education

Prerequisites: KH 3010 with a grade of C or higher and KH 3410 with a grade of C+ or higher.
Corequisites: None.

Requirements: A minimum grade of C+ is required for this course.

Description
Students examine contemporary curriculum models, theory, and standards for adapted, elementary, and secondary physical education, and for health education. Students learn how to develop a curriculum for a K-12 program. This course has been identified as a “Critical Thinking Through Writing (CTW)” course by the Department of Kinesiology and Health (KH).
