Description
Introductory survey of the great writings in political thought. Examines the contributions these works made to Western conceptions such as democracy, equality, human nature, citizenship, and liberty, as well as their continuing relevance for understanding contemporary moral and political dilemmas. A maximum of six credit hours may be applied toward the major. Global Scholars course. May be repeated but only if content varies
