Description
Health communication is an area of study designed to impact the behavior, attitudes, and actions of individuals in various settings with the goal of improved health. This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the basic concepts of public-health specific communication. This course provides an overview to communication tools, including: technical and professional writing, the use of mass media, and electronic technology. Students will demonstrate the ability to synthesize and present tailored public health information to diverse audiences across multiple formats.
