Description
This course examines aging as a social process and focuses on the influence of ethnicity and race, as well as other key social relations in shaping the life course. We will define and examine diversity and disparity and consider many of the socio-cultural factors that give rise to differences across the life course and in later life. Crosslisted with SOCI 3124; Target Group: All undergraduate students, Gero and Soci undergraduate majors.
