Requirements: Required of all candidates for graduate degrees in history, except those who complete HIST 7050. Recommended to be taken in the first year of residence if possible.

A general introduction to the professional practices in the history discipline, designed for graduate students who are not pursuing careers in teaching. Required of all candidates for graduate degrees in history, except those who complete HIST 7050. Recommended to be taken in the first year of residence if possible. A grade of B+ is required of all M.A. and Ph.D. candidates.
