Prerequisites: College algebra.
Description
This course provides an introduction to biostatistics with a focus on applications to public health research and practice.Topics include descriptive statistics, classical statistical inference, and an introduction to statistical modeling with linear regression. Fundamentals of data analysis are introduced with the use of statistical software. Emphasis is placed on interpretation and conceptual understanding.
