CRJU 4935 - Internship and Field Placement I

Description
The course focuses on the integration and application of knowledge from the criminal justice core and related courses to the student’s internship or work experience. This course is a Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) course. The course requires the completion of 160 hours of fieldwork. Applications for field placement must be submitted to the Internship Coordinator by the appropriate deadline: September 15 for Summer Semester, February 15 for Fall Semester, May 15 for Spring Semester. Students must register for and successfully pass CRJU 4935 during their senior year in the program. Students are allowed to enroll in CRJU 4935 as early as the beginning of the senior or next-to-last semester before they graduate. This course may include a Signature Experience component.
