JOUR 4145 - Digital Editing

Prerequisites: JOUR 3900 with a C or higher. Only students who have met the Journalism Major Eligibility Requirements may enroll in this course without department approval.
Description
An intensive exploration of the concepts, techniques, aesthetics, and interpretation of visual storytelling for a digital audience. Access to Adobe Creative Suite is required to execute exercises in dialog, editing, developing a visual narrative, audio mixing, motion graphics, and various techniques of visual effects. Projects will be considered for broadcast on Georgia Public Broadcasting and distributed on the GSUTV digital platforms.
