KH 2220K - Anatomy and Physiology for KH I

Description
Requirements: KH 2220K may be attempted twice for students applying to the B.S. Exercise Science program. A minimum grade of “C-” is required for this course. This course is an in-depth study of the structure and function of the human body from the cellular/histological level through the organ system level with a focus on kinesiology and exercise science. In this first course of the two-course series, students will study the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Homeostasis, the impact of physical fitness or disease, and the importance of organ system interactions will be highlighted. Students may take KH 2220K and KH 2230K in any order or concurrently. KH 2220K may be attempted twice for students applying to the B.S.Exercise Science program.
