Description
This course provides an overview of planetary health, a new field that studies how ecosystems and human health are interconnected and seeks to provide effective interventions to improve the health of human populations and the planet. Academically, Planetary Health is most closely aligned with Global Health. This course takes a critical anthropological approach to both, learning about core principles of the fields while also seeking to understand how anthropology can contribute to and improve them.
