EDRD 2200 - Reading for Undergraduate Success

Description
The primary objective of this course is to support students in developing reading fluency in an academic context so that they may perform successfully in reading a variety of academic texts in their undergraduate courses across the disciplines. The course focuses on strategies for reading comprehension, developing vocabulary, recognizing main ideas, skimming, scanning, and inferring meaning from context. All reading skills addressed in this course may be applied to other academic courses in the university.
