CHEM 4150 - Introduction to Biophysical Chemistry

Prerequisites: MATH 2202  or MATH 2212  with a C or higher or equivalent. CHEM 4600  is recommended.
Description
Applied physical chemistry to biological systems. Elements of thermodynamics, kinetics, hydrodynamics, and spectroscopy are used to characterize biomacromolecules and their interactions with ligands. Acceptable for credit toward a BS degree in Chemistry in the Biochemistry concentration.
