ECON 4980 - Undergraduate Research in Economics


3 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: ECON 4950  with a C or better.
Description
This is an undergraduate research course designed to acquaint the student with a hands-on research experience. Students will learn the overall method of research and how to use analytical tools. Lecture will be hands-on workshop sessions, where students should come prepared beforehand. Each student will be assigned to his/her mentor, who will work at least 8 hours per week for the rest of the semester. Student will submit a research paper by the end of the semester with a mandatory presentation.
