Description
Students examine instructional material, teaching strategies, and evaluation procedure for teaching in secondary schools. Includes experience in reflective teaching and microteaching. Introduces the secondary programmatic issues including diversity, technology, content-specific pedagogy, classroom management, and assessment. Provides grounding in concepts of professionalism, equity, and school culture. Provides initial program identity, advisement, and screening. School experiences are included.
