ENGL 4040 - Religion and Literature

Description
Advanced study of modern literature tied to particular religious tradition. Possible topics include but are not limited to Buddhism in American writing, poetics in the history of Christianity, the role of Islam in narratives of decolonization, and literary responses to secularization.
