PHPB 4230 - Global Perspectives on Injury and Violence Prevention


3 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: PHPB 2000, PHPB 3040, restricted to public health majors.
Description
This course will present an overview of the leading forms of injuries, their geographic variability, risk factors and comparative perspectives. Special emphasis will be placed on child maltreatment, youth violence, gender based violence, suicide and traffic crashes. Global Perspectives Course.
