PSYC 3530 - Advanced Research Design/Data Analysis CTW


4 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: PSYC 3510 with a C or higher. Students must meet the Psychology Major Eligibility Requirement in order to enroll in this course.
Description
This course provides psychology majors with experience in research design, data analysis, and scientific communication needed for 4000-level courses. Topics include experimental design, comparisons of multiple groups, and the structure and style of scientific writing in psychology. This course serves as a Critical Thinking Through Writing (CTW) course for all psychology majors. Students who are unable to pass PSYC 3530 with a grade of C or better in two attempts shall not be permitted to repeat it or to enroll in courses for which it is a prerequisite.
