RMI 3751 - Risk Assessment Methods

Prerequisites: None.
Requirements: Must meet RCB upper division course requirements and 45 semester hours.

Description
This course will introduce basic concepts of risk calculations and statistics used in assessing risk exposures primarily for insurance and corporate risk management. Students with basic math skills will gain knowledge and literacy of these basic methods used to evaluate and measure risk. The course will focus on business needs, through spreadsheet skills. As data analysis methods permeate the day-to-day insurance and corporate risk businesses, the future managers will be expected to be able to understand and participate in the evolution in business.
