SLIP 3100 - ASL Narrative and Discourse


6 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: ENGL 1101 and ENGL 1102 with a grade of “C” or higher. 
Corequisites: SLIP 3100L.
Requirements: SLIP 3100L MUST be taken with this course even if the student has taken and passed the lab previously.

Description
This course is an advanced study of American Sign Language conversation and narrative. It is designed to provide a strong foundation for future interpreting courses. The primary focus is on complex grammatical features, vocabulary expansion and language fluency. This course is taught predominately in ASL.
