IFI 4010E - Programming and Machine Learning for Business 3 Credit Hours
Pre/Corequisites: Prerequisites: None. Description Requirements: Must meet RCB upper division course requirements and 45 semester hours.This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the intersection of programming, data analytics, and machine learning within a business context. The course focuses on foundational principles and practical skills necessary for leveraging analytic techniques to address real-world business challenges. Students will gain proficiency in using Python and various packages to collect, analyze, and visualize data, with a specific emphasis on applications in machine learning for business. Throughout the course, examples and case studies will illustrate the application of machine learning in solving diverse business problems. Topics covered include reducing customer churn, customer segmentation, predicting market demand, supply chain optimization, and more.
