Description
Requirements: Must meet RCB upper division course requirements and 45 semester hours.Businesses utilize insurance to mitigate and transfer risks. Assessing the business’s risks and identifying appropriate insurance coverages and carriers requires the skills of a capable risk manager and insurance specialist, meaning an insurance broker (intermediary). Competency in risk assessment and insurance markets, trust, and relationships are key. This course will provide a grounding for a career in brokerage.
