STAT 8680 - Applied Nonparametric Methods

Prerequisites: Math 4752/MATH 6752.
Description
Nonparametric testing and estimation procedures are introduced. Topics include rank methods for one sample and two sample problems, rank tests for one-way layouts, linear regression and independence problems, robust estimates, goodness-of-fit test, U-statistics, recent developments in nonparametric statistics. Three lecture hours a week.
