The School of Music offers a minor in music with either an emphasis in general music studies or in music management. A background in music is helpful but not necessary.

Minor Requirements

The minor requires 18 semester hours of course work in music, 9 of which must be at the 3000-4000 level. Required courses include music theory, music history, performance, and electives. Certain prerequisites may not count toward the requirements for the minor. Interested students should contact the School of Music for further information.
