Editing and Publishing Minor

The minor in Editing & Publishing is designed for students who wish to develop practical skills and gain experience that will prepare them to work in various editorial fields (scholarly, creative, trade; digital, print) and/or to establish their own magazines or presses. The minor in Editing & Publishing is intended to be a complement to any major in the fine arts, arts & humanities, sciences, education, or business.
Students who minor in Editing & Publishing must complete at least 15 hours of coursework as described below. Required and elective courses may require students to complete prerequisites; ENGL 1102 with a grade of C or better is required for access to the required courses below. A grade of C or higher is required in all courses counting toward the minor.
