Institutional Priority
It is suggested that nursing majors take PHIL 1010 as one of the two required courses, as critical thinking skills are a vital part of the nursing profession.
Arts, Humanities & Ethics
It is suggested that nursing majors take SPAN 1002 as one of the two required courses.
Political Science: US and Georgia History & Constitution and Social Science
It is recommended that nursing majors take PSYC 1101 as the social science foundations selection, as it is a prerequisite for [PSYC 3140 ].

- PSYC 3140 - Psychopathology and Abnormal Psychology 3 Credit Hours
Students must take 3 hours of electives. If they select a 1 hour course, then they must also take a 2 hour course. Course electives: NURS 3002, NURS 4450, NURS 3003, CNHP 3000, NURS 3730, NURS 3220, CNHP 3200, CNHP 3810, NUTR 3160 (this course has a $100 lab fee that will be assesed on tuition).
