Concentration Requirements
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers the Bachelor of Science in mathematics with a concentration in computer science. This program provides strong preparation in both mathematics and computer science. Students completing this program may request that a suitable annotation be placed on their permanent record. Students must receive credit CSC 1301 , and CSC 1302 in the Core IMPACTS or Field of Study areas or as electives. CTW Requirement (3 Hours)
Complete the following course to fulfill the Critical Thinking Through Writing (CTW) requirement: Mathematics Requirements (15 Hours)
Computer Science Requirements (17 Hours)
Additional Computer Science Options (7-8 Hours)
Select two additional upper-level computer science courses with at least one selected from the following Additional Courses Area
Additional courses must be taken as electives to complete a minimum of 120 semester hours. |
