In today’s data-driven world, proficiency in data analytics is becoming increasingly essential across various fields. The Undergraduate Certificate in Social Science Data Analytics has been established to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this dynamic landscape. This certificate program provides a comprehensive curriculum that combines foundational courses in data and statistics, specialized training in social science research methods, and advanced techniques in data analysis and visualization. By integrating these analytical skills into their academic studies, students can enhance their research capabilities, improve their ability to interpret and present data, and make more informed decisions in their respective fields. Beyond their undergraduate studies, the certificate prepares students for a wide range of career opportunities where data analysis is crucial, including roles in public policy, market research, social research, urban planning, and more. The program ensures a robust and flexible educational path, ultimately enhancing students’ marketability and readiness for the ever-evolving demands of the workforce. This certificate is offered by the College of Arts and Sciences in partnership with the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
