Georgia Film Academy Minor - Film and Television Post-Production Track

Required Courses

Students who wish to minor in the Georgia Film Academy must take 15-18 hours including at least nine semester hours at the 3000 level or above. A grade of C- or higher is required in all courses counting toward the minor.

Prerequisite: GFA 1040  for the following GFA courses. In conjunction with the Georgia Film Academy Advisor and Georgia State Academic Advisor select three from the following:

• GFA 3040 - Introduction to editing with AVID Media Composer 100 6 Credit Hours
• GFA 3140 - Introduction to Sound Design with AVID Pro Tools 100 6 Credit Hours
• GFA 4000 - Film, Television, & Digital Entertainment Apprenticeship 6 Credit Hours
• GFA 4140 - Advanced Sound Design with AVID Pro Tools 200 6 Credit Hours
• GFA 4040 - Advanced Editing with Avid Media Composer 200 6 Credit Hours
