Return to: 1500 Student Life and Services

Georgia State University Housing’s mission is to cultivate a safe, inclusive, living-learning environment where all residents develop holistically through support and opportunities focused on life skills, personal development, and community responsibility. On-campus accommodations are available in the University Lofts, University Commons, Patton Hall, Greek Housing, Piedmont North and Piedmont Central. These residence halls offer a variety of living options. Housing costs for all facilities include rent, furniture, furnished kitchens (where applicable), all utilities, wireless internet, basic cable television, free access to laundry facilities and mail services. Typical furniture sets include an extra-long twin bed, desk, chair and closet or wardrobe unit. Residents’ safety and security are maintained by card or key access, camera systems, security and police officials, on-call staff and a guest check-in process. Atlanta Campus students only are eligible to live in University Housing residence halls.

University Housing residence halls are in highly desirable downtown locations that are within minutes of Georgia State University academic buildings, libraries, computer labs, the Student Recreation Center, the Student Center and many major attractions in Atlanta. All University Housing residence halls meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
