HIST 8780 - Digital Heritage Preservation

Description
This course exposes students to practices that incorporate digital technologies to investigate, document and interpret cultural resources. Project-based assignments provide students with real-world experiences that support innovative applications to record and interpret resources and engage with diverse stakeholders. Students will address issues related to cultural heritage practice using digital tools and methods such as laser scanning and drones, GIS, Structure from Motion and web design.
