GEOS 7112 - Introduction to Weather and Climate for Teachers


4 Hours
Designed to give teachers a basic understanding of weather and climate, with emphasis on spatial processes and human impacts on weather and climate. This course is primarily intended for students in the Masters of Arts in Teaching program in the College of Education who will be secondary science teachers, but it is open to other graduate students as well. Three lecture and two laboratory hours a week. Not open to students who have taken Geog 1112 or its equivalent.
