GRMN 7135 - Introduction to Theory and Practice of Translation

Introduction to professional translation, based on a comparative study of characteristic modes of expression in German and English and to the theoretical aspects of translation. Practice in translation of non-technical texts from German to English and English to German. May be repeated for credit for a maximum of four semester hours.
