GERO 7200 - Health and the Older Adult

This course provides an introduction to physiological aging and the health status of older people and is designed for non-health professionals who work with older adults. Normal aging processes, age-related changes, and associated health promotion activities will be discussed. Information on the assessment and implications of alterations in functional health states, drug use, and referral sources are included.
