CPS 7661 - Applied Practice I: School Counseling


3 to 6 Hours
A minimum grade of “S” is required for this course. The purpose of the counseling practica is to introduce counseling master’s students to the practice of school counseling with actual clients at a site commensurate with the student’s professional interests. Practicum may extend beyond one term. (Repeatable).

Prerequisite(s): CPS 6020  with minimum grades of “B”; CPS 6150  with a minimum grade of “C”, CPS 6450  with a minimum grade of “S”, CPS 7260 , CPS 7300 , CPS 7340 , and CPS 7500  with minimum grades of “C”.
Corequisite(s): None.
Pre/Corequisite(s): None.
Requirements: Course is graded as satisfactory/ unsatisfactory.
