LGLS 8450 - Legal Environment of Health Care

(Same as HA 8450) This course provides students with a study of the legal aspects of the health care business. The course covers the role of government in regulating health care and health applications of the law, of torts/malpractice, contracts, and administrative law. It equips students to recognize legal issues in the health care environment and to manage legal risks in decision making.
