MGS 8455 - Strategic Leadership: Leading Implementation of Strategy

This course focuses on one of the more important areas in strategic management and one of the biggest challenges in leadership: The role of CEOs and other top managers as the leader of strategy implementation. The basic objective of this course is to develop a student’s ability to understand the role and effect of the leader on the company’s strategy, performance, and vitality. Students will increase their capabilities in strategic leadership when evaluating situations, identifying alternative plans of action, making strategic choices, and implementing these choices with effectiveness.

Prerequisite(s): It is recommended that students take MGS 8420  or a similar course prior to taking MGS 8455.
