MGS 9610 - Seminar in Competitive Strategy

This course is a doctoral level seminar on the major theoretical and empirical approaches to business-level strategy or competitive strategy research. The main objective of the course is to familiarize students with the basic assumptions concepts and theories underlying these topics in the field. The course is intended to expose students to the major theoretical ‘lenses’ that underpin current research in the field and the major research issues to which they are applied.Students will analyze and discuss the major questions in the field and explore ways in which those questions may be addressed both theoretically and empirically.
