PHPH 8820 - Categorical Data and Generalized Linear Models

This course focuses on the analysis of non-continuous (e.g., categorical and count) outcome data from public health research and practice. An overview of the generalized linear model will be provided. Topics include binary/multinomial/ordinal logistic and Poisson regression. Emphasis is placed on the application and interpretation of these techniques in real data settings using appropriate statistical software.
