CIS 4280 - Mobile Application Development

Pre/Corequisites: Prerequisite: CIS 3270.
Requirements: Must meet RCB upper division course requirements and 45 semester hours.

Description
This course focuses on mobile app development for Android and iOS, providing students with hands-on experience in building real-world applications. Students will work on developing a fully functional mobile app, learning how to design responsive and user-friendly interfaces, integrate backend services, and handle device specific features like camera, GPS, and notifications. The course emphasizes using modern AI tools to assist in writing more efficient and optimized code, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance app functionality. By the end of the course, students will use AI assisted development techniques to build professional-grade mobile apps.
