Description
Pronunciation and Oral Fluency of English for students whose native language is not English. In this course, students focus on how to make their speech in English more intelligible through exercises in: thought-grouping, intonation, stress and pausing, and pronunciation of discreet sounds (consonants and vowels) crucial to communicating meaning. In this course, students will learn how to improve their intelligibility by analyzing samples of clear speech and by analyzing and improving their own speech through listening to recordings and practice.
