Description
This course is designed to provide pre-nursing students withmajor tools to foster the essential competencies necessaryto be successful in both prerequisite nursing courses andthe GPC Program of Nursing. The competencies that a studentacquires include, but are not limited to, reading health-related literature for comprehension, organizationalstrategies, stress and time management, study and test-taking skills, and the ability to use critical thinkingskills in the sciences and in nursing courses. By attainingthese competencies, students enhance their potential foracademic development, socialization into the role of studentnurse, and completion of the nursing program. The grade forthis course is satisfactory/unsatisfactory only. 201808
