KH 3090 - Strength and Conditioning in Physical Education and Coaching

Requirements: A minimum grade of “C” is required for this course. 

Description
This course provides an overview of strength and conditioning and allows students to explore the principles of Human Performance applied within the school and team setting. Emphasis is placed on movement science and mechanics and focuses on applying the foundations to learn and develop strategies of progression and training to impact functionality and improvement in any athletic, fitness, physical education, or team setting. This course will provide students insight into the many modalities of strength, power, agility, speed, and movement development and give them practical experience in the field.
