Description
This course builds on previous experience and prepares students to provide nursing care to adult patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions with the goals of assisting individuals and their families in promotion, maintenance and restoration of optimal health and well-being. Under faculty supervision, the student develops and refines professional practice. (3 hrs didactic credit; 2 hrs clinical credit [90 clinical contact hrs]).
