This course is designed to examine the concepts and principles of community and population healthnursing. The course will provide an overview of health issues that transcend borders, class, race,ethnicity, and culture. Emphasis is placed on roles, levels of prevention, principles of epidemiology, public health policy, and disaster preparedness.
