Description
The course discusses the structure and functions of carbohydrates as well as their involvement and roles in diseases. Topics covered include background information on glycobiology, discussions of structure and biosynthesis of glycans, glycan-binding proteins and their involvement in biological events, glycans in physiology and disease, and analytical tools and applications of glycans.
