WGSS 3700 - Religion in My World 21st Century Skills for Professionals

Description
This is an introductory course that helps students discover and learn how religion functions in their world, personally, professionally, and globally. The course uses a method of practical investigation through case studies or problem events to understand contemporary religious discourses, religious perspectives, and how religion responds differently in various situations. The course focuses on developing students’ abilities to use religious studies terms and concepts to reason, speak, and write about religions in informed and creative ways. This course is organized in modules focusing on a religious literacy, professional skill/competency, and a case study. (Same as RELS 3280).
